Join me for a relaxing and creative modern calligraphy workshop at The Potter’s Wheel in Wallingford, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of brush pen calligraphy in a fun, supportive setting!
What you'll learn:
✔️ How to use a felt tip brush pen correctly for calligraphy
✔️ Basic strokes & letter formations
✔️ How to connect letters to build words and phrases
✔️ Lots of tips for smooth lettering, with guided worksheets and templates to trace and take home
In addition to your guided worksheets, there will be some fun autumn related projects to work on and take home with you on the day! As well as a traceable autumn quote, you’ll have a set of 4 leaf shaped gift tags to letter on, as well as an autumnal bookmark project! 🍂
This workshop is perfect for beginners—no experience needed! Whether you're looking to explore a new hobby, create handmade cards and gifts, or simply enjoy a mindful, screen-free activity, this workshop is for you. You do not need to have good handwriting to learn calligraphy, and this workshop is also suitable if you are left handed!
🗒️ All materials will be provided for the session, so you do not need to bring anything with you.
Note: you must be 16 years or older to attend this workshop.
